Dell has announced the UltraSharp Curved 4K WUHD monitor. UltraSharp Curved 4K WUHD monitor comes with a plethora of connection option. Dell Ultra wide curved 4k promises wide coverage of color and outstanding output of color. Dell UltraSharp Curved 4K WUHD has a resolution of 5120 X 2160 , resulting wider range than the regular 4K Display. Dell also says that this is the world’s first 40-inch ultra wide curved monitor.
It have 33% more space than a typical 4k monitor (32″). Dell confront that the screen not only offers more on-screen space than a standard monitor, it also gives a wider field (depth) of view thanks to its curvature. The UltraSharp 40 “provides wide color coverage and outstanding color quality,”. It also have 90W power charging for PC over Thunderbolt 3 and also allow super speed data transfer over USB. It is said that iw will arrive on January 28th, 2021 for $2,100.
There is no mention of HDR support. Which likely means the monitor doesn’t support any of the many HDR profiles. The lack of HDR likely consider this monitor for graphic design and photo editing or content viewing.
